Mountain People exists because of a love for the mountains. A genuine, deep, lifelong love — the kind that starts on a first ski run as a child and never lets go. In our tenth year as an established alpine and mountain specialist, that passion is still at the heart of everything we do. It shapes the trips we design, the resorts we recommend, the providers we trust, and the level of care we bring to every single client.

Where It All Started

Mountain People was born from a simple but powerful realisation — that alpine travel deserved better.

Before Mountain People, our founders spent years organising large group ski trips, immersed in every detail of what it takes to put together a great time in the mountains. What became clear, year after year, was that the industry was falling short. The market was full of package holiday operators treating ski trips like any other product on a shelf — standardised, transactional, and largely indifferent to what clients actually wanted from their time in the mountains.

Growing up skiing, spending summers in the Alps, building a deep understanding of what makes a truly exceptional mountain experience — it created both a frustration with the status quo and a clear vision for something better. A more tailored approach. A higher level of service. A genuine specialist offering built around the client, not around a catalogue.

Mountain People was founded to fill that gap — and a decade later, it remains the reason we exist.
