Does Mountain People serve clients from outside Ireland and the UK? Yes — we work with clients from across the world including the USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, UAE, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, and beyond. Our late opening office hours ensure we are always available regardless of your time zone.
Do you arrange flights? Mountain People does not arrange flights. We provide all in-resort components — transfers, accommodation, lift passes, hire, lessons, guides, and activities — from your arrival in Europe onwards. You book flights independently, which gives you complete flexibility on airline, routing, and timing.
Can I get a quote in my local currency? Yes — we provide quotes in USD, CAD, AUD, NZD, ZAR, AED, SAR, EUR, GBP, or any preferred currency.
How far in advance should I book from an international location? We recommend 9 to 12 months in advance for peak season dates regardless of your market — this secures the best accommodation availability and allows flight purchases to be coordinated with confirmed in-resort arrangements. Some markets and periods (particularly March for Middle Eastern and Turkish travellers, and Christmas/January for Australian and South African travellers) book particularly quickly.
Which European gateway airport should I use? It depends on your resort. Geneva (GVA) serves the French Alps and western Switzerland. Zurich (ZRH) covers central Switzerland and parts of Austria. Munich (MUC) is the main hub for Austrian resorts. Lyon (LYS) and Grenoble (GNB) serve the southern French Alps. Our specialists advise on the best routing for every resort and market.
